Comic Market 103: 140,000 people visited on the first day Admission regulations were significantly eased as last time

Comic Market 103, Japan's largest doujinshi sale event, started on December 30th at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto Ward, Tokyo), with approximately 140,000 visitors on the first day. Comic Market 99-101 limited the number of visitors due to the spread of the new coronavirus, but this time, similar to Comic Market 102 this summer, restrictions on admission have been significantly relaxed, including abolishing the number limit.

General participants will need a ticket or wristband-type participation card to enter. In addition to morning admission and afternoon admission, early admission tickets were also sold to prevent people waiting to arrive late at night. Comic Market 103 is open until December 31st.
