Dandadan: TV anime starts in October 2024 Shion Wakayama plays Momo, Natsuki Hanae plays Okarun, Mayumi Tanaka plays Turbo-Granny, Kazuya Nakai plays Alien Serpo

It has been revealed that the TV anime "Dandadan," based on the popular manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, which is currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," will begin airing in October 2024. The main cast has also been announced, with Shion Wakayama playing high school girl Momo (Ayase Momo) and Natsuki Hanae playing Momo's classmate and occult-obsessed Okarun (Takakura Ken). It has also been announced that Mayumi Tanaka will play the yokai Turbo Granny and Kazuya Nakai will play the alien Serpo.

"Dandadan" is a manga by Ryu, who worked as an assistant on the popular manga "Chainsaw Man" and "Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku," and began serialization in "Shonen Jump +" in April 2021. The story depicts Momo, a high school girl from a family of spiritual mediums, and Okarun, a classmate of Momo's who is an occult enthusiast, as they confront a series of mysterious monsters.
