The 10th episode of the TV anime "MF Ghost", "Update", which is based on Shuichi Shigeno's "successor" to the popular manga "Initial D", will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and other channels at midnight on December 3rd. Episode 10 features Hiroya Okuyama, who once fought with Takumi Fujiwara, the main character of "Initial D." Okuyama, who belonged to "Team Spiral" which advocates the Zero Theory, is now an engineer at the auto shop "Spiral Zero" and updates the 86GT. Shuhei Sakaguchi will be the voice actor.
One night after the heated battle, Kanata briefly returns to his daily life. Ren tries to confess to Kanata that she is the MFG Angels' "Number Seven," but Ogata interferes and she misses the opportunity. Ogata invites Okuyama from Auto Shop Spiral to strengthen 86. At Kanata's strong request, it was decided that the update would be done without touching the power unit. In Kanata's attitude toward running, Okuyama can see the influence of Kanata's mentor, Takumi Fujiwara.
"MF Ghost" began serialization in "Young Magazine" (Kodansha) in 2017. The story is set in Japan in the year 202X, when self-driving cars have become widespread, and as MFG, a public road car race, is gaining popularity around the world, Kanata Katagiri (Kanata Rivington), who graduated from a British racing school, has a certain purpose. The anime will be directed by Tomohito Naka, who has worked on the ``New Initial D the Movie'' series, and will be produced by Felix Film. Naoyuki Onda, who also worked on ``Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash,'' will be in charge of character design.
