It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime "Oshi no Ko, based on the manga currently being serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha), will be broadcast in 2024. A teaser visual featuring Aqua, Kana Arima, and Akane Kurokawa has also been released.
"Oshi no Ko is a popular manga written by Aka Akasaka, who also wrote "Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, and illustrated by Yokoyari Mengo, who also wrote "Scum's Wish". It began serialization in Weekly Young Jump in April 2020. It tells the story of a twin Mengo Yokoyari left behind by a genius idol named Ai, who suddenly dies. The younger twin, Ruby, admires her mother and enters the entertainment industry, while the older brother, Aqua, vows to take revenge on their biological father, who is believed to have accomplices in Ai's murder.
The first season of the TV anime was broadcast from April to June.
