Chiikawa Restaurant, a restaurant inspired by the manga "Chiikawa", will open as a permanent store on November 16th at THE GUEST cafe & diner (Toshima Ward, Tokyo) on the 7th floor of Ikebukuro PARCO main building. Prior to the opening, a preview was held on the 15th, where the menu and goods were unveiled. The restaurant's concept is a ``family restaurant'' that people of all ages can enjoy, and the interior is decorated with illustrations of Chiikawa characters in staff costumes, making it feel like you've stepped into the world of `` Chiikawa''.
The interior of the restaurant is decorated with illustrations of the first chef's Kuri Manju and the second chef's Usagi, as well as cute pink sofas and tables. Each table has a call button that reproduces the "push button for Kuri Manju" in the story. Chiikawa's illustrations are designed throughout the store, and just looking at them is soothing.
The grand menu includes "Chiikawa 's Children's Lunch" (1,870 yen) which adults can also order, "Hachiware's Fried Egg Hamburger Set" (1,760 yen) which features a fried egg on top of Hachiware, "Rou (Shisa 1-day owner ver.)" (1,760 yen) which is inspired by "Rou" ramen in the story, dessert Chiikawa Menu items include the "Second Chef's Whimsical Dessert Plate" (1,760 yen), the "Ganbare! Chiikawa Weeding Tiramisu" (1,540 yen).
Since the concept is a family restaurant, there will also be a fair offering limited-time menus.
At the preview, reporter sampled "Rou (Shisa 1-day owner ver.)". The ramen is hearty with plenty of bean sprouts and thick noodles, but the soup is light and easy to eat. It's a ``Shisa one-day owner version'', so it's arranged in an Okinawan style with soki meat and more. Once we were full, we also tried the “Hachiware Cream Soda.” As for the cream soda, the ice cream shaped like a Hachiware's face melted and crumbled, giving me a sad feeling, but I drank it all while thinking, ``I'm sorry.'' I was able to spend a relaxing moment surrounded by Chiikawa and the others, enjoying the cute menu.
`` Chiikawa Restaurant'' requires advance reservations, and electronic tickets ``cafe admission numbered tickets with meal tickets'' are sold on a special Lawson Ticket website. There are two types of numbered tickets: ``Reservation ticket with meal ticket'' (1,000 yen) and ``BOX sofa seat reservation ticket with meal ticket'' (6,000 yen). Cafe admission numbered tickets are sold out until December 25th. The lottery for numbered tickets for December 26th to February 13th, 2024 will begin at 6pm on November 16th.
