Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!: TV anime starts in January 2024 Yuko Miyamura as sound director

The TV anime ``Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!'' (abbreviated as Cheri Maho), which is based on the popular manga by Yu Toyota that has also been made into a live-action movie, will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and other channels from January 2024.  Staff information has also been announced, with Yuko Miyamura, a voice actress known for her role as Asuka in the popular anime Evangelion series, serving as the sound director. It was also announced that Makoto Furukawa and Gen Sato will appear as additional cast members.

Furukawa will play Masato Tsuge, a romantic novelist who is a friend of the main character Kiyoshi Adachi, and Sato will play Minato Wataya, a deliveryman in charge of Tsuge's home delivery area.

A teaser PV featuring the main character Adachi, Adachi's colleagues handsome elite Yuichi Kurosawa, Tsuge, and Wataya was also released on YouTube.

``Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!'' is a romantic comedy manga that has been serialized on the web service ``Gangan pixiv'' since 2018. The main character, Adachi, who is a 30-year-old office worker, is able to use the ``magic that allows him to read the minds of those he touches'' and learns that his handsome colleague Kurosawa, the ace of the sales department, is in love with him. A drama series starring actor Eiji Akaso was broadcast on TV Tokyo in 2020, and a movie was released in 2022.

In the anime, voice actors Chiaki Kobayashi and Ryota Suzuki will play Adachi and Kurosawa, respectively.
