Kaya Kiyohara, popular actor Greg Han and co-starring  movie "Seishun 18 x 2: The Road to You" to be released

The Japan-Taiwanese joint film ``Seishun 18 x 2: The Road to You'', starring actor Kaya Kiyohara and popular Taiwanese actor Greg Han will be released in May 2024, and the movie will be released in May 2024. The movie is based on the travelogue essay "Seishun 18 x 2: The Wanderings of a Japanese Car" which became a hot topic in Taiwan. It is said that international movie star Chang Chen, who was inspired by this work, planned to make a movie and wanted Fujii to be the director, and this project was started.

It all started in Taiwan 18 years ago. Ami, a backpacker from Japan who is four years older than Jimmy, shows up at high school student Jimmy's part-time job. The two end up spending the summer working at the same store, but Jimmy gradually develops a faint crush on Ami. The two become closer, but suddenly Ami decides to return to Japan. Ami proposes "one promise" to Jimmy, who can't sort out his feelings. As time passes, Jimmy visits his parents' house for the first time in a while and finds a postcard that Ami sent him 18 years ago when he returned to Japan. Jimmy's memories of his first love come back to him, and he sets out on his first solo trip to Japan to face the past and look at the present. Jimmy rides the train while listening to songs that remind him of his memories with Ami, and heads to her hometown.  Han will play the role of Jimmy, and Kaya will play the role of Ami.
