Power of Hope: PreCure Full Bloom," a new anime depicting the grown-up Nozomi Yumehara characters from the popular "Pretty Cure" series "Yes! PreCure 5" and "Yes! PreCure 5 GoGo!" will be broadcast on NHK E-television every Saturday at 6:25 p.m., starting October 7. It will be produced as an adult-oriented anime as part of the 20th anniversary project of the "Pretty Cure" series.
In the first episode, "The Shape of the Future," Nozomi Yumehara her friends appear as adults. Nozomi meets her childhood friend Rin Natsuki as usual and complains. She recalls her time as a Pretty Cure and recites her transformation chant. Urara Kasugano, Komachi Akimoto, and Karen Minazuki also appear.
``Power of Hope: PreCure Full Bloom'' is directed by Takayuki Hamana, who has worked on ``The Prince of Tennis,'' while Atsuko Nakajima, who has worked on the ``Hakuoki'' series, designed the characters. And Yoshimi Narita, who has previously worked on the same series, is in charge of the series configuration. Naoki Sato will be in charge of the music, and Toei Animation and Studio Deen will produce.
