The trailer for the anime "PLUTO" based on Naoki Urasawa's manga has been released on YouTube. The video depicts the sadness and melancholy of robots, including a scene in which Montblanc, one of the world's most advanced robots dispatched to war, is distressed by his actions, and Gezihito, a detective robot, calls him a "killing machine". It depicts Astro Boy being upset and crying. A key visual depicting Atom confronting Pluto while protecting his sister Uran was also released. The visual is accompanied by the following copy: "Someone please stop this hate."

"PLUTO" is based on a manga by Urasawa, a remake of "The Greatest Robot on Earth," a chapter from Osamu Tezuka 's "Astro Boy." It was serialized in "Big Comic Original" (Shogakukan) from 2003 to 2009, and is told from the perspective of Gejihito, a robot investigator who was a supporting character in "Astro Boy." In a society where humans and robots coexist, a mysterious incident occurs in which the world's most excellent robots are assassinated one after another. Gejihito and Atom pursue the truth, and eventually become aware of the existence of the worst hatred in history that will lead the world to destruction. The comic has been released in eight volumes, and has sold over 10 million copies worldwide.

The anime is based on all 8 volumes of the original comic, with 8 episodes each lasting 60 minutes. It will be distributed on Netflix from October 26th.
