A preview of episode 14, "The Battle of Yahiko," of the new TV anime adaptation of Nobuhiro Watsuki 's popular manga "Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story" has been released. The new TV anime will enter its second season from episode 14.

"Rurouni Kenshin" is a popular manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 1994 to 1999. The film depicts Kenshin Himura, who was feared as the Hitokiri Battousai at the end of the Edo period, as a wanderer who swore not to kill after the Meiji Restoration, searching for a way to live in a new era. The new chapter, ``Rurouni Kenshin -Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story, Hokkaido Arc-'' has been serialized in the monthly manga magazine ``Jump SQ.'' (Square) since 2017.

The new anime will be fully supervised by the original author, Watsuki, from character design to the scenario, and will reconstruct the original work from the first episode. It is currently being broadcast on Fuji TV's late-night anime slot "Noitamina" and elsewhere.
