The Steam version of the visual novel game ``Witch on the Holy Night'' by the game brand ``TYPE-MOON'' known for the ``Fate'' series will be released on December 14, 2023. The game was originally released for PC on April 12, 2012, and was ported to PS4 and Nintendo Switch with full voice and full HD, and was released in 2022. A ported version of the game on Steam will be released. It was announced at Aniplex's online event "Aniplex Online Fest 2023" held on September 10, 2023.
The scenario for ``The Wizard's Night'' was written by Kinoko Nasu, who his worked on the ``Kara no Kyoukai'' and ``Fate'' series, and Hirokazu Koyama was in charge of the graphics. It originates from an unpublished novel written by Nasu before the release of "Tsukihime", and is set in the late 1980s, with Sojuro Shizuki, a high school student who moved from the countryside to the city, and Aoko Aozaki, an apprentice magician, from England. The story is about meeting Aris Kuonji, a witch, and the three of them end up living together in an old Western-style mansion.
Haruka Tomatsu will play Aoko Aozaki, Yusuke Kobayashi will play Sojuro Shizuki, and Kana Hanazawa will play Alice Kuonji. The game will be available in English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
There is also talk that the work will be made into an anime and released as an anime movie.
