THE FIRST SLAM DUNK: Re-released at over 380 cinemas, large-format screenings also Exceeding the 2022 release date

It has been announced that "THE FIRST SLAM DUNK", the animated feature film based on Takehiko Inoue 's classic basketball manga "SLAM DUNK", will be shown again in over 380 cinemas nationwide from August 13th. It is currently streaming on Netflix.

The story follows red-haired delinquent Hanamichi Sakuragi, who joins the Shohoku High School basketball team through an unexpected turn of events. The comic series has sold over 120 million copies in total. The TV anime aired from 1993 to 1996, leading the basketball boom and gaining popularity around the world.
