Saint Seiya: "Myth of Hades" comes to an end after 18 years of serialization Shocking final episode in "Champion" !!

The popular manga series "Saint Seiya: Next Dimension Myth of Hades" by Masami Kurumada, part of the "Saint Seiya" series, reached its final chapter in issue 31 of the magazine "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Publishing), released on July 4th, bringing the curtain down on its 18-year run. The cover of the issue featured headlines such as "A shocking final chapter after 18 years of serialization!!" and "The new galactic mythology is finally over!"

To commemorate the final episode, the issue will offer a "Saint Seiya Special Desk Calendar" to all applicants. As an extra, it will come with a large double-sided poster of "Saint Seiya: NEXT DIMENSION Myth of Hades."

"Myth of Hades" is a sequel to "Saint Seiya" and began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Champion" in April 2006. It depicts an unprecedented holy war set in the Zodiac 240 years before the battle between Seiya and Hades, the King of the Underworld, in Elysion. The story follows Athena Saori and the Bronze Saints, who descend to the time of the Holy War 240 years ago to save Seiya, who has been cursed by Hades.

"Saint Seiya" began serialization in December 1985 in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha). It depicts the battles and friendships of the warriors known as Saints, including Seiya, a boy of the Pegasus constellation, who possess a special power known as "Cosmos." A TV anime series was broadcast from 1986 to 1989, and an anime movie version has also been produced.
