FAIRY TAIL: Hiro Mashima draws Natsu and friends for the first time in 7 years! Special one-shot published in "Magazine"

A special one-shot story based on Hiro Mashima 's popular manga "FAIRY TAIL" was published in the 31st issue of "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha), released on July 3rd. "FAIRY TAIL 100 YEARS QUEST", the sequel to "FAIRY TAIL" for which Mashima is responsible for the names (rough sketches), is being serialized on Kodansha's web manga service "Magapoke", but this is the first time in about seven years that Kishimoto himself has drawn a one-shot story. The issue states, "Just before Natsu and friends set off on the 100-year quest, a major commotion breaks out, involving the guild!?"

The TV anime "FAIRY TAIL 100 Years Quest", based on the sequel "FAIRY TAIL 100 Years Quest", is also a hot topic as it will be broadcast on TV Tokyo every Sunday at 5:30 pm from July 7th. This will be the first time in about five years that a new TV anime of "FAIRY TAIL" will be broadcast since the final episode of the final season in 2019.

"FAIRY TAIL" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" from 2006 to 2017. The story depicted the members of the mages' guild Fairy Tail, including the main character Natsu Dragneel, a Dragon Slayer and fire wielder, and the heroine Lucy Heartfilia, as they grew up while solving various requests. The first series of the TV anime aired from 2009 to 2013, the second series from 2014 to 2016, and the final season from 2018 to 2019.
