The 14th episode of "Spice and Wolf MERCHANT MEETS THE WISE WOLF," a completely new TV anime based on the popular light novel "Spice and Wolf" by Isuna Hasekura, published by Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA), entitled "New Town and Nostalgic Feeling," will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and other channels from late night on July 1st.

Lawrence and his friends head further north from Rübinheigen, heading for Holo's hometown. The next town, Kummersun, is holding a big market and is about to host the Ladla Festival, which attracts many visitors. On the way there, the two meet Amati, a young fish merchant who belongs to the same Lowen Guild as Lawrence, and he helps them find lodging. It seems that Amati has fallen in love at first sight with Holo, who is dressed as a nun.
"Spice and Wolf" is a light novel that depicts the journey of traveling merchant Kraft Lawrence and Holo, an incarnation of a wolf worshipped as the god of fertility. The first season of the TV anime was broadcast in 2008, and the second in 2009. Takeo Takahashi, who directed the previous work, will be the general director of the new anime, and Hijiri Sanpei who directed the second season of the previous work, will be the director. It will be produced by Passione. Following on from the previous work, Jun Fukuyama will play Lawrence and Ami Koshimizu will play Holo.
