Reiyo Matsumoto: Appointed special ambassador for the "Kamen Rider Exhibition" in her hometown of Kagoshima Kamen Rider Majade statue on display at the venue only

It has been announced that Reiyo Matsumoto, who plays the heroine Kamen Rider Majade/Rinne Kudo in the special effects drama "Kamen Rider Gotchard" (TV Asahi, Sunday 9am), will serve as a special ambassador for the "50th Anniversary Kamen Rider Exhibition FINAL," which will be held at the Kagoshima Prefectural History and Art Center Reimeikan (Joyama-cho, Kagoshima City) from July 13th.

Matsumoto is from Kagoshima Prefecture. She commented with joy about the Kamen Rider exhibition being held in her hometown and her appointment as ambassador, "I'm very happy! Kamen Rider is something I admire and it's a very important work to me. I also really love my hometown of Kagoshima, even though I left it about a year ago!" She also said enthusiastically, "I'll do my best as an ambassador while having fun so that everyone in Kagoshima can have a good time!"

To commemorate Matsumoto's appointment as ambassador, it has been decided that a statue of Kamen Rider Majade, played by Matsumoto, will be exhibited exclusively at the Kagoshima venue.

The "50th Anniversary THE Kamen Rider Exhibition" will be held at eight locations nationwide from March 2022, with the aim of showcasing the charms of Kamen Rider as depicted through the three eras of Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa. Actual props used in TV and movie filming, special footage edited for the exhibition, and monster statues will be on display. The exhibition will close at the Kagoshima venue.

The Kagoshima venue will be held from July 13th to August 25th (closed on July 16th, 22nd, 25th, 29th, August 5th, 19th). Opening hours are 9am to 6pm (last admission at 5:30pm).
