It has been revealed that Shoko Nakagawa will be singing the theme song "ACROSS THE WORLD" for the VR video "MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM: Silver Phantom" from the popular anime series "Gundam." The work is set in Universal Century 0096 and is an immersive experience-based video work in which viewers can participate as the protagonist. Nakagawa commented, "An unprecedented cutting-edge immersion into the world of Gundam! Who would have thought such a future would come! I hope that the theme song "ACROSS THE WORLD" linked to the work will become a new memory of your Gundam experience."

It was also announced that the game will feature a mixed reality (MR) system. In addition to being able to enjoy mini-battles with mobile suits, players will be able to warp from the real world to a "dock" that houses the mobile suits, allowing them to get up close and personal with the mobile suits. In addition to the mobile suits that appear in the main story, there will also be a lineup of mobile suits that only appear in the MR system.

The work is a joint production between Bandai Namco Filmworks and Atlas V, a French VR production company that has worked on "Gloomy Eyes" and "Battlescar". It will be released this fall on the VR headset "Meta Quest" (Meta). Kenichi Suzuki will be the director, Ryoji Sekinishi will be the scriptwriter, Tsukasa Kotobuki will be the character designer, and Mika Akitaka will be the mechanical designer.
