The schedule for the live-action adaptation of the manga "Oshi no Ko is currently being serialized in the manga magazine "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha), has been announced, revealing that the drama series will be streamed on Prime Video from 9:00 p.m. on November 28th, and the movie sequel to the drama will be released on December 20th.
The first trailer for the live-action version was also released. It shows Aqua (Kaito Sakurai), Ruby (Nagisa Saito), Kana (Nanoka Hara), Mem-cho (Ano), Akane (Mizuki Kayashima) and others surviving in the entertainment industry, and also depicts the shocking scene in which Ai (Asuka Saito) is suddenly stabbed by someone.

A teaser visual featuring the main characters Aqua, Ai, and Ruby has also been released. The visual depicts the ever-changing world of social media, where lies and truth, truth and fiction are mixed together, and is dotted with photos that recall famous scenes from the series.
"Oshi no Ko" is a popular manga written by Aka Akasaka, who also wrote "Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari Mengo, who also wrote "Scum's Wish", and began serialization in April 2020. The comics have sold a total of 17.5 million copies, and the TV anime that aired in 2023 was also a huge hit, with the second season set to air in July.
