Oblivion Battery: New visuals released TV anime reaches climax

As the TV anime series "Oblivion Battery," based on Eko Mikawa 's baseball manga currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," reaches its climax, a new visual has been released. The visual focuses on Kei Kaname, and is accompanied by the copy, "If you could forget just one thing, what would you choose?"

"Oblivion Battery" began serialization in April 2018. The story is about a monster battery made famous in the junior high school baseball world, consisting of the flawless pitcher Haruka Kiyomine and the sharp catcher "wise general" Kei Kaname Kaname, who go on to study at Tokyo Metropolitan Kotesashi High School, an unknown baseball school. Kei has lost his memory and all knowledge of baseball, and by chance, the geniuses who had lost to them and stayed away from baseball also enroll in the same school.

The anime will be directed by Makoto Nakazono who participated in "Chainsaw Man" as chief director, and produced by MAPPA. Toshiki Masuda will play Haruka Kiyomine and Mamoru Miyano will play Kei Kaname. Currently airing on TV Tokyo.
