Ultraman Arc: Kaho Mizutani appears Becoming a cheerful and dependable “older sister” investigator

It has been announced that Kaho Mizutani will be appearing in the new special effects drama "Ultraman Arc" of the "Ultraman" series. She will play Rin Natsume a cheerful and reliable older sister-like figure who is a female researcher at SKIP, the Monster Disaster Prevention Science Research Institute to which the main character Yuma Hize belongs.

Rin Natsume is a genius programmer who is also good with machines, and is in charge of systems and equipment development at SKIP. With her excellent mechanical engineering mind, she has been in charge of the development of the AI robot Yupi from the start, and they have a close, trusting relationship like siblings, but she keeps it a secret that she named it after her beloved dog. She has a bright, straightforward personality and a strong professionalism, and acts alongside Yuma, who has just joined the facility, as a reliable senior.

Mizutani commented, "I hope to create an atmosphere that makes viewers feel close to the world of Ultraman. I myself have always loved the works I watched as a child and they influenced me growing up. I will act with care so that 'Ultraman Arc' becomes such a work for someone. I can't wait until the day we can deliver it to everyone!"

The theme of the new work "Ultraman Arc" is "The Power of Imagination." The protagonist, Yuma Hize, a rookie researcher who has just joined the Institute for Scientific Research on Monsters and Disaster Prevention (SKIP), becomes one with a messenger of light who descends to Earth from a faraway galaxy, becoming a giant Ultraman Arc and protecting the future of humans and the Earth from an impending crisis. Takanori Tsujimoto, who has participated as a director in the "New Generation Ultraman" series since "Ultraman X," will serve as the main director for the first time, and Jun Tsugita, who has teamed up with Tsujimoto on the "Ultraman" series, will be in charge of series composition and main scriptwriting. New actor Yuki Totsuka will play Tobise Yuuma.

It will be broadcast on TV Tokyo every Saturday at 9:00 a.m. starting July 6th.
