A new visual "Holo and the Story of the Four Seasons: Holo x Sakura" for "Spice and Wolf merchant meets the wise wolf," the first completely new TV anime in 15 years from the popular light novel "Spice and Wolf", has been released. It depicts Holo surrounded by cherry blossoms in full bloom in the spring sunlight.

"Spice and Wolf" is a light novel written by Isuna Hasekura of Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA). It depicts Kraft Lawrence, a peddler, traveling with Holo, a girl with wolf ears and a tail. In February 2006, it was selected for the Silver Prize at the 12th Dengeki Novel Award, and in February 2021, the series celebrated its 15th anniversary. The cumulative circulation of the series is approximately 5 million copies. The first season of the TV anime was broadcast in 2008 and the second season in 2009.
In the new anime, Jun Fukuyama will play Kraft Lawrence and Ami Koshimizu will play Holo, following the previous work. Takeshi Takahashi will be the general director, Hijiri Sanpei will be the director, and Passione will produce.
It will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and other channels from April.
