It has been revealed that three second-year junior high school boys will appear as the main characters in the new TV anime "Shinkalion: Change the World" in the "Shinkalion" series. In "Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion" and "Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z," the main characters were elementary school students, but in the new work, the main character are three middle school boys. The three are Taisei Onari who loves trains, Akane Forden, the second son of a sports elite family, and Ryota Kuzuryu, a mood maker who belongs to the railway club.
In the new work, Taisei Onari and other drivers will operate the Shinkalion developed by the Super Evolutionary Railway Development Organization, commonly known as ERDA, and will fight against the unknown enemy, Unknown, who appears in various parts of Japan.
Three Shinkalions piloted by the three main characters were also unveiled. Taisei Onari will pilot the Shinkalion E5 Hayabusa, Akane Forden will pilot the Shinkalion E6 Komachi, and Ryota Kuzuryu will pilot the Shinkalion E7 Kagayaki. A new Shinkalion developed by ERDA, it is combined with a reinforced armed vehicle modeled after an actual work vehicle. This is the first time in the series that Shinkalion is combined with a vehicle.
