Masami Nagasawa receives a series of negative comments from director Koki Mitani in the movie "Let All About Suomi"? Appears at the completion report meeting

Actor Masami Nagasawa appeared with director Mitani and her co-stars at the completion report meeting for her starring movie "All About Suomi" (directed by Koki Mitani, to be released on September 13th) held in Tokyo on August 29th. This is Nagasawa's first time appearing in a movie directed by Mitani, and she reflected on her role as Suomi, the wife of a multifaceted man who suddenly disappears, saying, "I wondered how I should create this character, and every day I received hints from the director while acting," and also revealed how Mitani "gave me negative feedback."

Nagasawa recalled with a smile, "This time, we had a rehearsal before filming. I acted out the role and Mitani said, 'That's not right, is it?'" As Mitani corrected her, laughing, saying, "I don't think that's what I meant (laughs)," Nagasawa continued, "He said, 'That's not right, is it?' So I thought, 'Oh, it's not right. What's different?' and I worked on creating the character," happily revealing the process of creating Suomi.

Tori Matsuzaka, who was participating in Director Mitani's film for the first time, also attended the completion report meeting. Mitani said about Matsuzaka, "I've wanted to work with Matsuzaka for a long time," and continued, "Many actors in their 30s perform straightforward, emotional performances, but Matsuzaka also gives off the scent that, 'There's something about this guy, I wonder if he's got something up his sleeve.' Even when watching commercials, I wonder, 'I wonder if this guy is really up to something.'" Matsuzaka laughed and denied it, saying, "That's not true!", making everyone around laugh.

The film is director Mitani's latest work, a mystery comedy about the "true identity" of Suomi, the wife of a wealthy man who suddenly disappears, played by Nagasawa. Upon learning of Suomi's disappearance, five men who loved her gather at her husband's mansion. The hot-blooded gardener Uoyama (Kenichi Endo), the shady YouTuber Tokachi (Matsuzaka), the passionate police officer Ugajin (Takashi Kobayashi), the neurotic detective Kusano (Hidetoshi Nishijima), and her current husband, the selfish artist Samukawa (Bando Yajuro). Each of them talks about Suomi as a completely different person in both appearance and personality...

Nishijima, Koji Seto, Endo, Kobayashi, Yajuro, Junki Tozuka, and Emma Miyazawa also attended the completion report meeting.
