It has been announced that director Koki Mitani's latest movie ``Let's talk about Suomi'' will be released on September 13, 2024. Masami Nagasawa plays the lead role. It was announced at the production report meeting on December 13th. This is the first time in about five years that a movie directed by Mitani has been released since 2019's ``Hit Me Anyone One More Time'', and this is his 9th movie.
Nagasawa has appeared in many Mitani works, including the NHK Taiga drama "Sanada Maru" (2016), but this is the first time he has appeared in a Mitani-directed film.
The movie is a suspense comedy about the true identity of Suomi, the wife of a millionaire who suddenly disappears, played by Nagasawa. After learning of Suomi's disappearance, five men who loved her gather together, but their images of Suomi are completely different in appearance and personality.
